So far I am about 50% done with the traditional drawing portion of the work. I use Copic Multiliner pens, Copic Sketch markers, and white Gelly Roll pens for the highlights.
I usually draw everything traditionally--starting out with pencil sketches then tightening it with inks and then markers. I personally like this method over using purely digital methods because the little quirks and personal touches can't be copied in photoshop at times. Drawing traditionally also, for me, has a somewhat spiritual quality to it that no amount technology can duplicate.
After I'm done with this, only then will I go digital and add in colors and effects.
